We have all read the Agile Manifesto, poured over SAFe and Nexus, and sharpened our skills by playing the Work Item game. But how many of us really understand why we do the things we do in Agile?
This session will present a series of real world application of Agile principles, and give some real world insights into how and why agile practices can be implemented in large organisations.
SPEAKER BIO: Andrew Auld
Andrew Auld is an internationally experienced IT professional with over 15 years project delivery experience and an agile practitioner since 2006.
Andrew is delivery driven with a focus for customer value through organisational agility, teams and people. He is passionate about working with teams to achieve and improving their delivery capability through agile practices.
Previously Andrew worked on large scale Mega Events (several Winter and Summer Olympics, Asian Games and Rugby World Cup) consulting in Logistics IT. More recently he has worked for various banking and superannuation financial institutions within business transformation capacity and currently is an Enterprise Agile coach across Digital Identity for the Australian Tax Office.
Andrew is certified Scrum Master, Product Owner, Agile Coach, Prince 2 Practitioner, regularly runs bespoke agile training courses, is an active contributor to Whole of Government Agile Meets and is finalising his MBA in Strategy and Planning.
